It's damn annoying. You should maybe change your settings to have your notifications delivered to your lj-inbox, too. Then you can at least look there when you get comments/replies.

It really really is annoying. It's my least favorite part of LJ. Grrrrrrr.

I don't like doing that though. I might have to till it gets fixed though. *le sigh*
